9th Dec - Snickers Vs Tools

With the Baum brothers on their annual walkabout somewhere up in Kakadu, and Dansie in the dog house being forced to clean the house, if was left to a number of ring-ins to do the job this week against the tools. The team of brothers included the brothers burf (craig and chris), the sicko bitches (aka brothers sickerdich, Adam and Carl), and the psuedo bros (Al and Cam), so only 3 regulars it was going to be tough.

The Snickers won the match and choose to bat first sending in the sick bitches as forst pairing who got off to a cautious start, but let loose late in their innings to pile on a flood of runs which started from a towering 13 from Adam, to finish with the Snickers best ever opening partnership of 68. The Brothers Burf were the second pairing, their innings was up and down like a yo-yo with a steady flow of runs interrupted by a steady flow of wickets they still managed to pile on a very decent 33 runs. The pseudo bros were batting in the uncustomary position of third and took them a while to adjust scoring only 10 runs for their first 3 overs they piled on the hurt to score 40 off their last three for a respectable 50 run partnership.

The tools got off to a good start scoring 25 runs of their first two overs they faced, but a fantastic fielding effort restricted them to only 11 runs off the next 14 overs, including a middle pairing of -1 (second time ever in Snickers history that an opposition pairing was held to a negative score). The finished with a late flurry scoring 24 off the last two overs but they were never really in the game, being held toa meagre 60 runs, creating the biggest ever win in snickers history a mammoth 91 run victory.
